Can I change the colours this kit comes with?
Absolutely! If you'd rather different colours from the Belle Beauty range, just leave a note when purchasing and we'll happily swap them for you! Just tell us the name of the colour you want, and the one(s) you'd rather not have.

What is the best gel nail kit for beginners?
A complete kit with a lamp, prep, base, colour and top coat. Beginners run into trouble when a kit omits prep products, because that's what causes lifting. This kit includes a 180W lamp and the full prep system, and the shades are beginner-friendly.

Are at-home gel nail kits worth it?
Yes for most people. A single kit covers many manicures, so it usually pays for itself within the first few sets compared with salon appointments. Expect the first attempt to take a little practice.

Is this gel nail kit safe?
Yes. Every product is HEMA-free (the nail industry's most common allergen) and TPO-free (banned in EU cosmetics from September 2025). Keep gel off the surrounding skin and cure each layer fully.

What do I need to get started?
Nothing else. The kit includes the lamp, prep, six shades, base, top coat and tools, a complete at-home system.

How long does gel polish from this kit last?
Two to three weeks without chipping, with proper prep, application and curing. The included dehydrator, primer, base and top coat ensure maximum adhesion.

How do I use it?
Prep the nails (push back cuticles, file, buff, cleanse), apply dehydrator and primer, then a thin base coat and cure. Apply colour, curing between coats, seal with top coat and cure, then finish with cuticle oil. Guides are on our blog.

What wattage is the lamp?
180W dual UV/LED - high-powered enough to cure all layers evenly, including pigmented shades that weaker lamps leave soft.

The thumbs don’t cure properly as it seems the bulb starts too high up so nothing is hitting one side of the thumb. Has caused me endless problems with clients and I’ve had to put something in the lamp to raise the thumb up so it cures the thumb which isn’t ideal as I keep having to move it each time I cure a hand. Have contacted you about the is but no response. Complete waste of money for me . Have requested a refund as not fit for use. If someone could contact please
